Garh Ganesh Mandir is an ancient temple built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh before laying the foundation stone of Jaipur city. The temple is situated on the Aravalli hills near the Jaigarh and Nahargarh forts. It is dedicated to Lord Ganesha who is revered in Vigra Purushkriti, which means that his child form is worshiped here. The temple is often a stopover for trekkers who explore the Aravalli hills for a spectacular view of the city.
